Grads!

Last week I had the privilege of shooting two friends that just graduated from college! Lots of hard work and dedication, these ladies received bachelor degrees while working full time jobs! Congrats Andrea and Faith!

Here are a few of my faves!

Rita and Steve's Wedding

In mid-October I went down to Sedona, Arizona for Rita's wedding. For those of you who don't know who Rita is, she was my roomie for about a year and a half in Portland. One of the original SoeBro ladies! I was so excited to be at her wedding because I hadn't seen her since she moved to Texas. (side note: all my exes live in Texas, that's why I hang my hat in Tennessee). Anyways. We went out for pedicures, manicures, massages, the works! It was so relaxing! A real girls weekend..well until she got hitched to a boy at the end! I ended up being her hair dresser, photographer and a bridesmaid! It was the first time I have ever taken pictures from the front as a bridesmaid! She didn't mind and the groom had no idea I was even taking pictures while standing two feet away! I pat myself on the back for that one! It was a fantastic weekend filled with new friends, old friends, laughter, dancing and wedded bliss! Here are a few pics for your viewing pleasure!

#3: Visit my brother in Colorado.

I told my brother for 4 years that I would visit him in Colorado and I finally did it! April 22nd I flew down to CO and hung out with Neal and his GF Laura and another friend, Nate, in Fort Collins. It was a great time catching up on life and seeing a little bit of the state! Already planning my next trip...hopefully at the end of the summer! Here's a few pics!

#16: See The Portland Cello Project Perform

So as usual I am horrible at updating my blog and I'm sure my five followers are just dying to know how my list is going!ha!

Number 16 on my list was to see The Portland Cello Project in concert. For my birthday back in January my friends Katy and Jamie said they would take me to see PCP live in March and that is exactly what we did! They played at McMenamin's Kennedy School and it was FREE! I couldn't believe that we got to see such an amazing concert for free! What a blessing!

Running never hurt so good...

I busted out my running shoes today! It's training time ya'll! My friend Rachel and I (and many many others) are training for the Eugene Half Marathon in May! I went running with my roomie Elise today for 20 minutes. I was dying..but I made it! I need to build up my endurance again! I made a yummy healthy dinner thanks to Trader Joe's and I'm starting to feel sore already...it hurts so good!!!

Making progress...

The day after Thanksgiving I decided to learn how to make pies like my mom. I don't know if you folks know but my mom is sort of a big deal in the pie baking world...she won first place at the church picnic..pretty impressive if you ask me. She always shakes her head at me when I brag about her pies but hey they are delicious and people need to know. Anyhoo...here's a pic of the crust perfecting action!
