#16: See The Portland Cello Project Perform

So as usual I am horrible at updating my blog and I'm sure my five followers are just dying to know how my list is going!ha!

Number 16 on my list was to see The Portland Cello Project in concert. For my birthday back in January my friends Katy and Jamie said they would take me to see PCP live in March and that is exactly what we did! They played at McMenamin's Kennedy School and it was FREE! I couldn't believe that we got to see such an amazing concert for free! What a blessing!

Running never hurt so good...

I busted out my running shoes today! It's training time ya'll! My friend Rachel and I (and many many others) are training for the Eugene Half Marathon in May! I went running with my roomie Elise today for 20 minutes. I was dying..but I made it! I need to build up my endurance again! I made a yummy healthy dinner thanks to Trader Joe's and I'm starting to feel sore already...it hurts so good!!!

Making progress...

The day after Thanksgiving I decided to learn how to make pies like my mom. I don't know if you folks know but my mom is sort of a big deal in the pie baking world...she won first place at the church picnic..pretty impressive if you ask me. She always shakes her head at me when I brag about her pies but hey they are delicious and people need to know. Anyhoo...here's a pic of the crust perfecting action!

Love is in the air...

Blast! I am such a horrible blogger! Sorry to all of you who "follow" my blog. I will do my best to give you something good to make up for it!

As some of you may know, my dear friend Katy, recently received some bling to wear on her ring finger by her boyfriend Brandon. In other words... SHE'S GETTING MARRIED!!!!!! sorry...I got a little excited there for a second! So last Sunday we went out to Sauvie's Island to take some pictures. It was a gorgeous day, which made me a little nervous because sometimes the sun doesn't work in the photographers favor. BUT have no fear...the pictures turned out really cute! I was super happy with them and I'm hoping the love birds are too!

A little wedding appetizer...

Last weekend my friends Brian and Kaila tied the knot and I had the honor of being their photographer! It was my first wedding and I was super nervous, but they were so amazing to take pictures of and I'm very pleased with the way they turned out! I hope they are too!

This is just the beginning of the photos...more to come later!
